IIS Output Caching

Is there some trick to getting IIS Output Caching enabled with unified streaming output?
I am trying to reduce the time it takes to generate the m3u8 manifests which are using remote URLs.

If IIS can cache the output, that would certainly improve response times.

Hi Bob,

I am not quite sure what 'IIS Output Caching' is: is it that you only want to create the content once? So that after creation it is cached locally and served from cache by IIS? I am not familiar enough with IIS to outline how that should be set up I am afraid.

If you concern is latency because the content is for instance stored in s3 then there is the following approach:
